Currently, her research work focuses on free radicals mediated autoimmunity in patients with autoimmune diseases including working with animal models. Rasheed also worked at the Department of Nutrition, School of Medicine, CASE Western Reserve University, Cleveland, USA where she gained her research experience on the alterations in transcription factors during stressful conditions.
